Mexico is a North American country. It is situated on the southern side of North America. Mexico touches the border with the USA, Gulf of Mexico, Pacific Ocean, Belize, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea. The total area of Mexico is 1.973 million km2, and its total population is 128.9 million (2020). In terms of area, it is the 13th largest country in the world. In terms of population, it is the 10th most populated country globally. The capital city of Mexico is Mexico City. Its capital Mexico City is one of the largest cities in the world.
