Climate change illustrates the long-term changes in weather and temperature patterns. Natural changes are not irreversible; however, changes due to human activities require serious actions to take. The burning of fossil fuels in high amounts produces dangerous greenhouse gases such as methane and carbon dioxide. While driving vehicles, gasoline is in use that produces these gases. Similarly, when anyone uses coal for warming purposes, methane and CO2 gases emit. Destruction of forests is another reason for an increase in CO2. Garbage landfills are adding methane gas to the environment.

Climate changes are highly intensive, and these have compelled the young generation to come forward and play a constructive role. So, environmental campaigner Greta Thunberg prefers to take a vegan diet. She has obliged her parents to stop using products that are not good for the environment. She stood in front of the parliament (Swedish) and protested through a sign showing “School Strike for Climate”.

Basically, cops 26 is the Convention of Parties covering countries such as EU, Democratic Republic of Congo, Australia, Colombia, Canada and Argentina, France, Scotland, US, Switzerland, South Korea, Sweden, Italy, Israel, Ghana, India, and Nigeria.

The key objective of cop26 is to make it possible to get net-zero emissions within the next 30 years. Countries will get a framework from cops26 members and will work accordingly to reduce global Temperature. Greta Thunberg joined the convention and stated it was a failure because the world does not need objectives for 2050. In fact, we need actions to take now and in upcoming years.

Regrettably, Gulf Stream collapse climate change is reported. Researchers claim that the collapse will cause due to change from strong to weak circulation. Scientists have warned the world about inadequate circulation. Ice sheets are melting, and heavy rains are causing the North Atlantic Ocean water to be less saline, making it lighter and less capable of sinking. In case, the water gets too light, it will disturb the overall circulation. The collapse of weather patterns will cause unexpected changes like rapid Sea level rise, disruption of the tropical monsoon system, and severe cold in Western Europe.

  • By the year 2030, climate change will increase more than 10% diarrhea disease in South-East Asia. 
  • If global Temperature raises 1C then there will be a 10% reduction in rice production and 6% reduction in the worldwide production of wheat. 
  • Climate change facts confirm that weather disaster has covered water insecurity, mental health problems, injuries and limited healthcare access. Due to weather disasters, more than 60,000 deaths occured in developing countries. 
  • Air pollution is another climate factor that has raised worldwide death. Just because of pollution, 7 million elderly people and children have died.
