What are the Best Steroids for Bodybuilders?

Steroids are synthetically formed versions of testosterone, a male hormone used to enhance muscle growth, promote athletic performance, and improve physical fitness and appearance. The human body naturally builds steroids to support functions like promoting growth and development or fighting stress. This is obtained through different mechanisms; however, the result is the same: the rate of protein synthesis increases significantly or the rate of protein degradation reduces considerably or both, the result of which is the rapid growth of muscles. The mechanisms or body fat levels start suppressing, varying from one product to another.

Testosterone is the best-known steroid; however, there are others as well which are quite popular amongst bodybuilders. These include:

  • Dianabol
  • Oxandrolone
  • Stanozolol
  • Oxymetholone
  • Methandrostenolone
  • Trenbolone

There are several types of drugs; each has a unique profile regarding toxicity, side effects, synergism and potency. These drugs and others are combined to develop various steroid cycles for varying goals and purposes.

How Are They Used?

  • Creams, gels and transdermal patches
  • Tablets, capsules and sublingual-tablets
  • Injected intramuscularly

To What Extent Are Steroids Effective?

People like to believe that anything can be done in natural ways. However, this might not be true. Proper nutrition and training can only do so much. A great example of this can be seen in professional bodybuilders who tend to detransform after retirement. A common fact is that retired bodybuilders start to shrink very fast and return to an average human being physique. Bodybuilders use them to build their muscles beyond the size of their natural potential. When it comes to gaining muscle mass, steroids are rendered to be highly effective.

Types of Steroids

There are several types of steroids, most of which do not have anything to do with strength, muscle growth and athletic performance. As a matter of fact, many break down muscle tissues and are known as corticosteroids. Steroids that occur naturally are synthesized in the cells of animals, plants, insects and even fungi. The human body comprises different types of steroids like cholesterol, Estrogen, Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D), Cortisol and testosterone among many others.

The type of steroids that bodybuilders are concerned about is known as anabolic or anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS). The term anabolic refers to the development of tissue or tissue synthesis. This allows the muscle tissues to grow significantly. Androgenic steroids tend to generate masculine features. Anabolic steroids are available in different types, including oral anabolic steroids, anabolic steroid creams, gels and patches, injectable anabolic steroids and anabolic steroid pellets.

Every type of steroid is different from the other. Before buying a product, you should closely consider the pros and cons of a particular drug with your physical requirements before starting your regimen or cycle.

All in all, steroids are considered to be highly effective for those who want to build lean muscle mass and maintain their physical fitness to the topmost level. However, steroids are always recommended to be used within the prescribed dosage to deliver effective results with fewer side effects.
