Only 2% of the roughly 100,000 private non-operating foundations in the United States hold more than $50 million in assets. Foundations gave out more than donations with a combined $46 billion and corporations $21 billion combined.
Charitable giving to grantmaking foundations stood at 13%, which was tied with donations to human services, followed by donations to education at 14% and religion at 27%.

The revenue of the grant management software market is predicted to grow to $2.9 billion globally by the year 2027, as compared to $1.31 billion in 2020, according to a report by Insights Partners. The market’s compound annual growth rate (CAGR) is expected to grow at 12%.
