Tasty Baked Popcorn Chicken

Popcorn chicken is not served in fried form. In fact, it is baked to get the crunchy texture. Enjoy this mouth-watering snack with friends. When you have arranged a party at home, do not forget to serve this dish to your relatives. You need just a few ingredients to prepare this dish. Is not it pleasing that you have to consume 20 minutes time to bake the most addicting, tender inside and juicy poppers?

The basic ingredient is chicken breast that must be cut into one inch small pieces. Keep the pieces aside and ready the other ingredients. It is good to add honey in the beaten eggs so each and every crumb will give sweet taste. Keep the small chicken pieces in the egg mixture for a few minutes. Meanwhile, make the coating of these poppers. Take almond flour and add onion powder, black pepper, paprika and garlic powder to prepare the coating. Cover each and every piece with this coating. Select a baking sheet having some oil to place the chicken bites. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes then flip the side. These juicy chicken popcorns are good to serve with ketchup, mustard or BBQ sauce. Even you can use as toppers with fresh salad; but remember that these crunchy poppers are more than a craving.

Required Tools

Mix Bowls – Two Medium Size

Baking Sheet

Onion Powder – ¼ t

Lightly Beaten Egg – One

Chicken Breast – One lb

Honey – One tablespoon

Almond Flour – ¾ cup

Garlic Powder – ½ t

Black Pepper – ¼ t

Paprika – ½ t

Baked Popcorn Chicken Recipe

Use preheated oven (350 F). Take a baking sheet and grease it with coconut oil.

Make small pieces of chicken almost one inch in size.

Take a medium size bowl to whisk the honey and egg to get smooth puree. Add chicken bites in the mixture and cover from all sides.

Take another bowl to mix the black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and almond flour.

Take out the chicken bites and coat each side with the almond flour mixture.

Place the coated bites on the baking sheet.

It requires 10 minutes to bake these delicious popcorns.

Flip the poppers and place in a dish with sauce to serve.
