Tawang Monastery, Arunachal Pradesh:

Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh:

This place is famous because Lord Buddha gained Nirvana here. That’s why it is also called Mahaparinirvana. You can witness several ancient things here like ruins of a stupa, a statue of Buddha, and a temple.

Key Monastery, Ladakh:

In the Spiti Valley, it is considered the oldest monastery. Despite its historical value, the surrounding area and fantastic architecture make it a highly majestic place. It is a must-see Buddhist site for you (don’t forget to take your camera to capture some memorable shots).

Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh:

Rajgir, Bihar:
