Homemade Paneer Tikka
Paneer Tikka is a popular Indian appetizer that features cubes of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) marinated in a spiced yogurt mixture, then grilled or baked until golden and slightly charred. To make the marinade, mix yogurt with spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander powder, garam masala, and red chili powder, along with ginger, garlic, and lemon juice for tang. Coat the paneer cubes in this flavorful mixture and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the spices. Once marinated, thread the paneer onto skewers with chunks of bell peppers, onions, or tomatoes, which add color and flavor. Grill, bake, or cook the skewers in a hot pan until the paneer is cooked through, with a slightly crispy exterior. Served with mint chutney and a sprinkle of chaat masala, paneer tikka is a deliciously spiced, smoky dish perfect for gatherings or as a starter for an Indian-inspired meal.

Paneer Tikka Recipe
Ingredients:
Paneer (cottage cheese), cubed, 1 cup
Yogurt, 4 tbsp
Turmeric powder, 1 Tsp
Coriander powder, 1 Tsp
Dried red chilies, crushed, to taste
Salt, to taste
Garlic clove, crushed, 1
Coriander leaves, chopped, 1 bunch
Cooking oil, for shallow frying

Paneer Tikka Recipe
Preparation Method:
Mix together the yogurt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilies, salt, and half the chopped coriander.
Add paneer to the yogurt mixture. Heat oil in a frying pan, add garlic and yogurt mix. Fry for 5 minutes on medium heat.
Garnish Paneer Tikka with the rest of the chopped coriander.
