Navratan Mango Chutney Recipe
Ingredients:
Raw Mango (Keri) 2 kg
Dry dates 750 gram
Sugar 1 Kg
Raisins I/2 cup
Black seeds 2 tbsp
Whole red chili 10 -12
Almonds (crushed) for garnishing
Char magaz seeds for garnishing
Navratan Mango Chutney Recipe
Preparation Method:
Wash and Peel the mangoes.
Cut them into long strips.
Place a pot on medium heat and add 2 cups of water. When water starts boiling and adds 2 cups sugar in it and dissolve completely.
During this time, you cut the dry dates into small pieces and keep in a bowl.
Add dry dates in the boiling syrup.
Cook it till dates are soft.
Now, add mangoes, black seeds, whole red chili & raisins.
Cook it for 25-30 minutes on very low flame.
When the mangoes are soft, close the flame and let it be cool.
Garnish it with magaz seeds and crushed almonds.
Keep it in an airtight jar.
You can store in a cool place and use it for 6-8 months
Enjoy it in breakfast with hot parathas or use it as a side dish with any meal.
