Marinated Chicken Biryani

Ingredients:

Rice 1 ½ kg

Chicken 01 kg

Red chili powder 03 tbsp

Turmeric powder 01 tbsp

Whole spices powder 01 tbsp

Ginger and garlic paste 02 tbsp

Salt to taste

Onion 03

Lemon (slice cut)

Tomato 04

Oil 1 ½ cup

Yellow food color ½ tbsp

Packet biryani masala 01 packet

Green chilies for garnish

Coriander leaves 01 tbsp

Bay leaf 02 tbsp

Cardamom 04

Cloves 04

Marinated Chicken Biryani Recipe

Preparation Method:

In a bowl add ginger and garlic paste, salt, biryani masala, chili, and turmeric powder.

Mix up well and marinade. Add chicken and leave it for 60 minutes.

Rinse basmati rice and soak for 30 minutes.

Heat up oil in a pot. Fry onions until light brown. Add marinated chicken and sauté for 5 minutes on a medium flame.

Cover and cook until the chicken is soft-cooked or tender.

Cook until any excess moisture dries.

Boil the rice, add the water, salt, cardamom, and bay leaf to a pot and bring to a boil. Add the rice and boil about 08 minutes then drain the rice.

Spread chicken in a layer over the rice.

On the top layer spread lemon slice, mint, green chili

Gently pour the yellow food color and cover it with a lid.

Serve from the top to the bottom layer. Each serving gets biryani rice from the top layer and chicken from the bottom layer.
