Gulab Jamun is a sweet dish that is very popular in Pakistan and India including Bangladesh. Almost on all the occasion, people make at home or purchase from the sweet shops. Gulab Jamuns are normally made with dry milk powder. Now, we are making Gulab Jamun with milk powder in the simplest steps.  It is very tasty and I am sure everyone will love it. Another advantage is that you can make in a hygienic way, it will be cheaper and will have a better taste. Try it this weekend; every member of the family will love this sweet dish.

Gulab Jamun with Milk Powder

Ingredients:

2 cups powdered milk,

2tbsp butter

1 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp plain flour

2 cups of sugar

3 tbsp semolina

5-6 green cardamom

6-8 tbsp milk

2 Âľ cup water

Homemade Gulab Jamun

Preparation Method:

In a large bowl add powdered milk and butter.

Combine it well.

Add baking powder and plain flour.

In a small bowl add semolina and water.

Soak it for 10 minutes.

Add it into the milk powder mixture and mix it well.

Add milk and combine it.

Avoid kneading it.

Let it rest for 10 minutes.

Make small balls.

There should be no cracks on balls.

Smooth Balls will give the best result.

Take a deep pan and heat cooking oil.

Add all the balls and fry till brown.

Take it out and let them cool.

In another pot add sugar, green cardamom, and water.

Cook it till sugar is dissolved.

Add the ready gulab jamun in it and close the flame.

Soak it for 2 hours.

Soft and tasty Gulab Jamun Recipe is completed.
