Fried Spinach Recipe
Ingredients:
Spinach leaves, 500 g
Mustard oil, 2 tbsp
Garam Masala, ½ tsp
Yellow mustard seeds, 1 tsp
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Spring onion, sliced, 2

Fried Spinach Recipe
Preparation Method:
Wash the spinach leaves and remove the tough stalks.
Heat the mustard oil in a pan until it begins to smoke. Add mustard seeds and garam masala and quickly and cover the pan. The seeds will pop and when popping sound stopped, add the onion and spinach.
Cook, uncovered on medium heat till the spinach has wilted and water evaporated.
Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
Note:Â Mustard oil is fiery but taste delightfully sweet when heated to smoking point and is excellent with most vegetables. So make sure you heat it well.
