Crunchy Oven Fried Chicken Recipe

Crunchy Oven Fried Chicken Recipe is quite simple and time saving that gives the texture of crunchy fried chicken without adding grains and deep frying the pieces. Even the ingredients used in this recipe are easily available in your kitchen. Almond flour is added as secret and texture developing ingredient that yields crusty and crisp look to chicken. As compared to other recipes of fried chicken, coconut flour is not used for brittle texture.

Many spices are also used to enhance the deep fried flavor and aroma. After baking, the chicken pieces get the perfect crispy texture from outside, whereas the inner surface remains juicy as well as tender. No doubt, it is a protein-packed recipe that is good for lunch and dinner. Do not forget to serve the scrumptious dish with roasted vegetables.

Note: If you are using the frozen chicken breasts then keep the pieces at room temperature for half an hour to defrost.

Oven Fried Chicken Recipe

Chicken Skinless Breasts – 2 Medium

Almond Flour – One Cup & Two Tablespoons

Large Egg – One

Oregano – ½ tsp

Paprika – ½ tsp

Pepper & Salt – As per taste

Cayenne Pepper – ½ tsp

Garlic Powder – ½ tsp

Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 1 tsp

Oven Fried Chicken

  • First, preheat your oven to 375 F.
  • Now, take a baking sheet having almond flour (one tablespoon). Sprinkle the flour where chicken breast will be placed. Similarly, keep on sprinkling the almond flour to cover the other chicken pieces. After completing this task, keep the baking sheet aside.
  • Take a small size bowl and mix one egg with two tablespoons of water. After mixing, keep the egg wash bowl aside.
  • Take another bowl. Add almond flour, black pepper, salt and seasonings.
  • Now dip the chicken breast pieces into home-made egg wash and coat with the flour. After coating, place the chicken pieces over the baking sheet having almond flour.
  • Sprinkle extra virgin olive oil over each and every breast piece.
  • Try to bake the pieces for half an hour; subsequently these get brown and crispy texture.
  • Serve with vegetables on immediate basis so everyone can enjoy the hot and delicious dish.
