Chapli Kebab Peshawari

Chapli kebab recipe is influenced by the Mughlai era recipe made in Pashtun-styled beef minced kebab. People usually make from ground beef with different spices in the shape of a patty. Now, people are using different types of meat. Chapli Kebab originates from Peshawar, Pakistan. People called this Peshawari kebab.

It is a popular street food all through the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and other parts of Pakistan, along with the eastern part of Afghanistan. In some parts of India, people eat Chapli Kebab as street food, especially, in the cities of Lucknow, Bhopal, Hyderabad, and Delhi. It is a popular recipe in the Muslim community living in India. Chapli Kebab is eaten warm with naan, roti, bread, rice, or in bread.

Presently, the chapli kabab dish is present on the menus of South Asian restaurants throughout the world.

The Peshawari Kebab made with raw meat mince that is marinated with different spices.  Later, it can be shallow fried in cooking oil.

Later, the chapli kebabs would be garnished and served with chopped onions, parsley, tomatoes, and additional accompaniments. You can serve the chapli kebab with chutney, salad, and yogurt.

Chapli Kebab Peshawari

Ingredients:

½ kg beef mince (qeema)

1 bread slice

1 cup chopped mint

2 medium-size tomatoes chopped

1 egg

1 tsp crushed black pepper

Salt as taste

1 tsp cumin powder

6 green chilies chopped

2 medium-size onions chopped

1 tbsp chili flakes

1 tbsp Coriander, crushed

Chapli Kebab Peshawari

Preparation Method:

In a chopper add meat mince (qeema) and bread.

Chop it well until combined well.

Beat egg and make an omelet.

Now cut it into small pieces.

In a large bowl add meat mince (qeema).

Now, add prepared chopped omelet, chopped mint, tomatoes, Salt, green chili, onions, and chili flakes.

Mix all the things well.

Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Apply water to your hands and make a big size of kababs.

In a frying pan heat oil.

Fry the kababs till golden brown from both sides.

Delicious Beef Chapli Kebsbs are ready.

Serve it with salad and chutney.
