Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Honey Butter Popcorn

Ingredients:

½ cup of popcorn kernels

½ 2 tsp of canola oil

Stick unsalted butter; 4 Tsp

1 tsp salt

3 tsp honey

Honey Brown Butter Popcorn

Preparation Method:

Put 3 kernels of popcorn and oil in a large pot. Cover it and heat until the kernels pop. Pour in the remaining kernels and cover it, shaking it well before popping. Shake the pot occasionally and remove it immediately from heat once it pops slowly, 2 to 3 seconds between pops. Put all popped popcorn in a bowl and remove partially popped kernels.

Take a large fry pan and melt the butter to a light color. Move the pan to cook the butter evenly. Once it melts, let the butter become foamy. The color will be toasty brown from lemony-yellow to golden-tan.

Remove the pan from heat and place the brown butter into a heatproof pot if it becomes nutty. Add salt and honey and stir consistently until it melts. Sprinkle over the popcorn bowl well and mix to coat all popcorn completely. Serve the recipe immediately.

Recipe Notes:

1-Make Ahead: Popcorn can be prepared a day ahead, and brown butter can be made almost five days ahead. Preserve the butter in a glass pot, like a jar, and reheat gently over the stove before stirring with salt and honey.

2-Storage: Remaining stuff can be preserved for up to one week in an airtight pot.
