Mutton Goulash Dish

During our trip to Hunza (Gilgit Baltistan), we were served with the Mutton Goulash dish. It was superb in taste, and we ate twice during our 10-day trip to the area. We asked about the ingredients of the recipe maker. They informed all the ingredients and how to prepare the recipe. On our return, we made this dish at home and it was superb. So, I am sharing the Mutton Goulash Recipe with all of you.

Mutton Goulash Dish

Ingredients

½ kg Mutton

2 onions finely sliced

1 tbsp ginger garlic

1 cup tomato puree

2 potatoes

2 peaches

1 tbsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chili powder

Salt as taste

Mutton Goulash Recipe

Preparation Method

Wash the mutton.

In a pot add mutton.

Add water and cook till it is 80% tender.

Cut the potatoes and one peach in cubes.

Now cut the other peach in the slice.

In a blender add the sliced peach and blend it till it becomes in the paste.

In a pot add oil and onion.

Fry it till brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste.

Now add tender mutton.

Then add turmeric powder, salt, and red chili.

Mix it well.

Add tomato puree.

Cook till oil comes up.

Add potatoes and peach paste.

Mix it well.

Add water and set it on low flame till potatoes are cooked.

Now add cubes of peaches.

Set in on low flame for 5 minutes.

Dish it out.

Enjoy the Mutton Goulash dish.
