Vitamin C

Vitamin C has a major impact on immune system health, Even the deficiency of it can incline the body towards illness. Citrus food like orange, grapefruit, and lemon are high in vitamin C. Strawberries, broccoli, kale, spinach, and bell pepper are also a vital source of vitamin C.

Vitamin supplements are helpful to cover the vitamins gap. However, the best way is to get it naturally (Eating fruits and vegetables).

You can easily absorb vitamins and nutrition in the body when they come naturally. But in the case of Vitamin supplements, their quality, quantity and the way you get it to the body can not be precisely regulated. Some vitamin supplements have side-effects specially when you consume before any surgical treatments, also so they can Trigger some allergies.

According to clinical researchers taking supplements for vitamin E is not recommended because it has been observed that Vitamin E benefits your health but it is harmful in some conditions. So taking vitamins directly by eating food is a better choice as compared to supplements.

Another best way to boost the immune system is to stay hydrated because water helps the body to produce white cells more efficiently. Eating hydrating foods like watermelon, celery and cucumbers can also assist the water levels in the body.
